Project Summary

 

The infrastructure works were procured as an enabling works package to unlock the development site and comprised of:

 

• Service diversions and demolitions

• Creation of temporary signals at adjacent road junctions

• Creation of a new cycle lane

• Road widening, additional lane creation and pavement realignment

• Main junction upgrade to permanent traffic signals.

• Temporary works as necessary to ensure all highways remained open during the works

 

As part of the brief, JPC engaged a specialist highways design consultant to prepare the necessary highways designs, traffic surveys and travel plans.

 

Local contractors were awarded the contract for the complete of the works under a JCT Form of Contract.

 

Working with the lead client and their consultant team, JPC defined the requirement, procured the works and managed the project through to completion of construction.
