As part of the continued redevelopment of a portfolio of later-living villages, JPC was appointed Quantity Surveyor and Contract Administrator for the refurbishment of a Grade II listed lodge.
Project Summary
The project, started in Q4 2022, and included the complete refurbishment of a Grade II listed bungalow, with extensive interior and exterior works, to increase the capacity of this existing high-end later-living village.
The refurbishment included:

The installation of a modern underfloor heating system with associated air source heat pump.

Extensive interior and external structural repairs, including works to the roof.

A large timber patio at the rear of the property.

Extensive interior restoration of the property, including new floors, soft furnishings, sanitary ware, and wall and ceiling finishes.
JPC became involved in the pre-planning stage of the development in August 2022 and provided client Quantity Surveying and Contract Administration support through to the project’s completion.
